........And A Most Special Gift!

I will begin this post by saying that it will mostly be comprised of pictures.What can I say, I am a "Mimi??" I chose those two verses above for my blog because it is the essence of Christmas, and it is what the birth of a child is all about! Wow, Christmas was very eventful for me this year! As most of you know, my son and his wife were expecting their first baby over the holiday season. The actual time for him to arrive was closer to the first of the new year, rather than Christmas. I was so concerned that I would miss this blessed event that I even asked the Lord daily if He would intervene for me. As He says in His word that if we trust in Him, He will grant us the desires of our hearts, I took that to heart! And though I don't deserve any of what He does for me, He did grant me this desire! I was so excited and grateful! Josiah was born on December 21st, and I arrived in Atlanta on December 25th, so I was able to enjoy him the entire time that I was there! What a blessing! Shannon picked me up at the airport, and I got to spend my time while I was there with my daughter, LeighAnn and her family, and so enjoyed the other grandchildren, as you will see in the pictures! So, I saw all of my children and grandchildren........what more could I ask for?? I am blessed beyond measure by my Heavenly Father, and I am so grateful to Him.
